Every case is reviewed and planned individually before surgery, including assessment of diagnostic imaging, procedure selection and implant requirements.

A wide range of advanced orthopaedic procedures can be safely performed within general practice.

Cases are reviewed before scheduling to allow diagnostic imaging, surgical approach, implant requirements and equipment to be planned in advance.

Soft tissue and airway surgery
Advanced soft tissue and airway procedures can also be performed within general practice, including:
• BOAS surgery
• Perineal urethrostomy
• Perineal hernia repair
• Salivary mucocele surgery
• Cholecystectomy
• Gastrointestinal surgery
• Prophylactic gastropexy
• Other advanced soft tissue procedures by case assessment

Practical information
• Bookings: Cases can be scheduled individually or grouped with other surgical cases at your practice or nearby clinics where practical.
• What your clinic provides: A surgical theatre, routine anaesthetic drugs and monitoring, patient preparation, hospitalisation and nursing support. Stifle Surgeons provides the surgical instruments, implants and procedure-specific equipment and consumables required for the procedure.
• Planning and communication: Cases are reviewed and planned before surgery. Owner communication, procedure-specific clinic resources, surgical reporting, discharge information and postoperative support are incorporated into the process.
